Fleet Maintenance

The Fleet Maintenance staff work diligently to keep BC Transit’s fleet of conventional and double-deck buses, minibuses and vans in top condition and include skilled tradespersons and service personnel. Mechanics typically have obtained their Trades Qualification in Commercial Transport Mechanics and are always learning new skills to keep pace with technological advances. At any one time, there is usually one Apprentice Mechanic on staff.

Our Hiring Process 

Individuals interested in applying for Fleet Maintenance positions with BC Transit are required to submit a cover letter and resume along with a 5 year Driver’s Abstract, a 5 year Claims Experience Summary and a true copy of a valid Class 2 learners licence* to:
